First comment is a fake, guy. Delete it.
Mine is true : this news seem really very exciting at first : we are numerous owners of 3D camcorders like the excellent Sony HDR TD-10 and of a Apple computer. No pure Mac solution at this time to edit 3D footage. I use Sony Vegas pro (with Parallels Desktop) to make masters and transfer them to Final Cut Pro in .mxf format (codec ProRes 422). Long process. How happy to discover that Pavtube 3D MTS Converter for Mac can at last output 3D format (SBS or UP) that I can import directly into FCP.
Alas, the 3D format seems not to use the ProRes 422 codec. I don't understand why, as it is in the choices pour FCP output (but no possibility of keeping the 3D there). When I compare the final .mov(s) from FCP, the quality differs clearly between the one made with Pavtube footage and the one with Vegas Pro footage.
You're just a step to the perfect software pour Mac 3D video enthusiasts ! I will easily double my buying price pour this one.
